Pimloc's Secure Redact Integration

Secure Redact

Pimloc's Secure Redact can be integrated with the Rhombus ecosystem to add a layer of privacy to any saved clips. When using Secure Redact, a second redacted clip will be created in the Rhombus console that blurs out detected faces and license plates in the clip. The clips from Rhombus will also be available on the Secure Redact platform, in your Secure Redact account.

Visit https://www.secureredact.ai/integrations-rhombus to set up the integration and a Secure Redact account.  

Setup

1. In the Rhombus Console, navigate to "Settings" and select "Third Party Integrations."

2. Select the "Incident Management" dropdown, and click "Pimloc."

3. Toggle on "Enable Pimloc Integration."

4. To get the API Client ID and Client Secret, log in or create a Secure Redact account (link to our integrations Rhombus page: https://www.secureredact.ai/integrations-rhombus.

Click on your Secure Redact profile icon in the top right corner and navigate to "Account."

5. Navigate to "Active API Credentials" from the account dashboard.

6. Click "New Credential" to generate the API Client ID and Client Secret.

7. Copy and paste the Client ID and Client Secret into the Rhombus Console and click "Save."

Console Navigation

1. Once the Pimloc integration has been enabled, navigate to the camera you wish to create a redacted clip for. For more information on saving clips please visit this article. 
2. When you are prompted to create settings for the saved clip, ensure the "Create Separate Pimloc Redacted Clip" is checked. Click "Save" when finished.

3. The non-redacted Rhombus clip and the redacted Secure Redact clip will both be located under the "Saved Video" and the "Clips" tab.

4. The Pimloc redacted clip may take longer to process than the Rhombus clip. Once it is complete, it will show up below the original clip and have the same name as the Rhombus clip.

Once fully processed, the redacted Pimloc clip can be:

  • Downloaded and shared as is, with full redaction - similar to a regular Rhombus clip, OR
  • Edited for specific redaction requirements in your Secure Redact account (e.g. unredact a specific individual or redact fixed areas of the video etc.). Download your edited, redacted video directly from your Secure Redact account for secure and easy sharing.

Note: Both clips exist in the Rhombus console and in your Secure Redact account. To utilize further Secure Redact features, please log in to your Secure Redact account.
