Overview
The Raptor Technologies Integration connects the Rhombus Console with Raptor. Once connected, the Rhombus Rules Engine uses events in the Rhombus Console to prompt a Raptor Technologies emergency scenario. These emergency scenarios can trigger lockdowns in the Rhombus Console and other unique actions via Raptor's system.
Raptor Setup
To fully utilize the Raptor Technologies integration, you must configure your Raptor Technologies Console with emergency scenarios. To learn more about how to set up your Raptor Technologies Console, contact the Raptor Technologies Support Team or call them at (877) 772-7867.
Rhombus Setup
1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to "Settings," and click "Third Party Integrations."
2. Open the "Incident Management" dropdown menu, and select "Raptor Technologies."
3. Click the toggle to enable the Raptor Integration. Enter the Client ID, Secret, and UID provided by Raptor Technologies, then click "Save" in the upper right corner.
4. When successfully enabled, the fields for Client ID, Secret, and UID, will be removed.
Rules Engine
This section will cover setting up a rule with a Raptor emergency scenario as the action, however, any feature that uses the Rhombus Rules Engine can utilize the emergency scenarios set up in the Raptor Technologies Console. When these scenarios are used as actions in the rules engine, they will follow the specified workflow set up in your Raptor Technologies Console.
1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to "Settings," and click "Rules Engine."
2. Click "Add Rule" in the upper left corner.
3. From the list of options, add a trigger to the rule.
4. Choose the location where this rule will be active.
5. Select the schedule during which this rule will be active.
6. Choose "Raptor" from the list of actions.
7. Set one of your Raptor emergency scenarios as the "Template," and choose the building this rule should trigger in.
Note: To trigger this rule at multiple buildings from your Raptor console, you can add another action.
8. Name the rule, and click "Save" in the upper right corner.
