Badge Face Mismatch
The "badge face mismatch" feature combines Rhombus facial recognition with Rhombus access control as a way to enhance identity verification when a user badges in at a location.
Console Setup
1. Ensure the name of the user assigned the badge is the same under "Manage" for Rhombus Faces. To verify the console badge name: Navigate to "Settings" and select "Manage Users" to verify names being used and associated with a badge credential. This can also be checked under "Settings" and "Access Control Credentials" to see which users have been assigned a credential. To verify the Faces name: Navigate to "Investigations," select "Faces," and then click "Manage." Find the user and make sure this name is identical to the name associated with the badge credential.

2. For the door that you want to enable badge mismatch on, ensure they have at least one camera associated. If associating more than one camera, you can choose which camera to use for Faces in the door page. To associate and choose a camera for Faces, navigate to "Devices," select "Doors," and click the door you wish to configure.
Scroll down to "Details," configure "Associated Cameras," and "Associated Facial Detection Cameras."

3. For the selected camera for Facial Detection, navigate to that camera's device page and ensure "Facial Recognition" is toggled on by selecting the settings wheel next to the "Licenses and Features" section. |

4. Add "Badge Face Mismatch" to the door policy and create a schedule for these events. For more information on policies, please review the Creating and Assigning Alert Policies article. |

5. Enable "Badge Face Mismatch" for the door's event timeline by navigating to the door's device page, selecting "Manage Event Types," and clicking the checkbox for "Badge Face Mismatch." |

6. You can create an alert notification schedule for specific users by clicking "Access Control Doors" and adding "Badge Face Mismatch" to the user's notification schedule. For more detailed information on notifications, please review the User-Based Alert Notifications article. |
