Overview
When viewing a camera, there are several features that can be utilized to easily navigate other camera views.
- Jump To Feature - Allows you to quickly jump from one camera to another without needing to navigate back to the "Devices" page.
- Nearby Cameras Panel - Allows you to add and view multiple cameras in a new panel, arrange layouts for saved clips, add or jump to cameras using a map feature, and track objects using arrows based on a camera's position.
Jump To Feature
1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to the "Devices" tab and select a camera from the list of devices.
2. Click the camera icon in the upper right corner.
3. Click a camera name in the dropdown list or search for a name to jump to that camera's video feed.
4. Click the right and left arrows next to the camera icon to jump to the camera immediately before or after the camera currently being viewed.
Nearby Cameras Panel
1. Navigate to the "Devices Page," click on the camera, and select the "Nearby Cameras" button in the bottom left, right above the timeline.
2. The search bar allows you to find a specific camera by name. Click on the plus sign to then add it to the viewing panel. Click the "X" button to remove the camera from the view.
3. You can view the cameras in list form, or on the map, and select.
Note: For best performance, ensure floor plans and device placement are kept up-to-date. For more information, review the Using Floor Plans article.
4. Add cameras based on proximity to the current camera that is being viewed, up to the 8 closest cameras.
5. Sort cameras by proximity or in alphabetical order.
6. Use the arrow to "Jump To" that camera instead of adding it to a multi-camera view.
