Overview

The Rhombus Console provides several tools for quickly navigating between cameras and viewing multiple camera feeds. This article explains how to use the "Jump To" feature and "Nearby Cameras" panel to find, switch between, and view cameras based on name, location, or proximity.

Jump To Feature

1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to the "Devices" tab, then select a camera.

2. Click the camera icon in the upper-right corner. 

3. Select a camera from the dropdown list or search for a camera to jump to its video feed.

4. Click the right and left arrows next to the camera icon to jump to the camera immediately before or after the one currently being viewed.

Nearby Cameras Panel

1. Navigate to the "Devices" tab, select a device, then click the "Nearby Cameras" button in the bottom-left corner, just above the timeline.

2. Use the search bar to find a specific camera by name, then click the plus sign to add it to the viewing panel. To remove a camera from the panel, click the "X" button.

3. Nearby cameras can be viewed in a list view or on the floor plan.

Note: For best performance, ensure floor plans and device placement are kept up-to-date. For more information, see the Using Floor Plans article. 

4. Add up to eight cameras based on their proximity to the camera currently being viewed. 

5. Sort cameras by proximity or alphabetically.

6. Use the arrow to jump directly to a camera instead of adding it to the multi-camera view.
