Overview
Rhombus allows administrators to restrict user access to the Web Console based on approved IP addresses. When enabled, users can only access the Web Console from IP addresses included in their organization's "Login IP Allowlist." This article explains how to configure IP-based login restrictions and manage access through the Rhombus Console.
Note: Changing this setting will sign the affected user out of all active sessions.
Login IP Allowlist
Before restricting user logins, an administrator in your organization must add the permitted IP addresses to the allowlist.
1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to "Settings," then click "Login IP Allowlist."
2. Enter an IP address or CIDR range in the available field, then click "Add." Repeat this process for any additional IP addresses or CIDR ranges, then click "Save" when finished.
Setting Up Login Restrictions
Once the IP allowlist is configured, login restrictions can be enabled for individual users.
1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to "Settings," then click "Manage Users."
2. Select the user for whom you want to enable IP-based login restrictions.
3. Scroll to the "Role" section of the user's profile, then enable the "Restrict Logins by IP" toggle.
Note: Enabling this setting automatically signs the user out of all active sessions.
