The Rhombus ecosystem provides regular device firmware updates which include security patches, feature updates, and more. These updates are released approximately once a month to continually improve the cameras and features included with them.
Setting a Firmware Update Schedule
To minimize network interference, firmware updates can be scheduled for specific times and days of the week.
1. To set a firmware update schedule navigate to Settings -> Firmware Updates (circled in red below).
2. Select the days you'd like your devices to update (this will only occur when an update is available). Your devices will update one at a time, beginning at the selected start time. If the updates are unable to finish within the chosen time duration, they will stop until the next scheduled opening.
Manually Update Firmware
To check the firmware version a camera is running, navigate to that camera in the console and scroll down to Camera Details & Settings. Click "More Details." The firmware version will be on the right-hand side.
Note: If you have proper permissions, the option to "Update Firmware" will be here as well.
