Overview
A camera's Wi-Fi settings can be reset in one of two ways: re-registering the device or via the mobile app. This article covers both methods for resetting the Wi-Fi settings on a Rhombus camera.
Re-Registration
1. Unregister the camera.
2. Re-register the device using the console or mobile app. See the registration section in the R230 Camera Setup article for more information.
3. Provide the updated Wi-Fi credentials on the Internet connection page.
Mobile App
| 1. In the Rhombus Mobile App, tap "Menu" in the bottom right corner, then tap "Utilities." |
| 2. Tap "Update Wi-Fi." |
| 3. Go through the brief wizard. Depending on your camera type, you can either update the Wi-Fi credentials through the mobile app or with a QR code. |
| 4. Select the device if needed and submit the new Wi-Fi credentials. Click "Next." |
| 5. If the camera hasn't connected to the new network after a minute, it is best to unplug it. Upon subsequent startup, it will join the new network. |
| Note: For R1 cameras, you will know that the camera has accepted the new Wi-Fi credentials when it flashes red lights. |
