HD and SD
- HD (High Definition) directly outputs from the camera you are streaming. Therefore, if your camera is set to 4K resolution, the stream would be the same.
- SD (Standard Definition) downscales the resolution to less than HD quality, which is defined as 1080p and above.
Performance Differences
There are some differences between the two modes Rhombus provides. Note: The R360's resolution differs from the other cameras.

Console Navigation
1. Navigate to the "Devices" tab and select the device you wish to change the HD/SD setting for. |

2. Click the dropdown menu that says "Live Type | Video Quality." Live Types:

3. When using Realtime, select the Video Quality you want to apply. This will apply to any footage recorded after the selection. |

Best Practices
Choosing SD video over HD video can lead to better performance, but will reduce video quality. If network performance and bandwidth are not a concern, it is better to go for the HD option.
