When configuring alert notifications, you may have some questions about what each alert type means.
Event Meanings
Camera Events |

Disconnect |
A camera has not connected to the Rhombus Servers for longer than 30 seconds |
Connect |
A camera has reconnected after being disconnected |
Human Movement | Human movement was detected |
Unusual Behavior |
Unusual movement was detected |
Any Movement | A camera noticed motion of any kind |
Vehicle Movement | Vehicle motion was detected |
License Plate Alert | A configured license plate set in the license plate alert policy has been triggered |
Badge Face Mismatch (Integration) | A badge was used by an unauthorized person |
Badge Unauthorized (Integration) | An unauthorized badge was swiped |
Missing Mask | A person was seen with a mask missing |
Helmet Missing | A person was seen with a helmet missing |
Visual Tamper | A camera has detected potential tamper |
High Occupancy Count | A people count went above the specified threshold |
Alerted Face | A configured face set in the face alert policy has been triggered |

High Probe Temperature

Tamper (Accelerometer) | Potential tamper has been detected by the accelerometer |
Tamper (Switch) | Potential tamper has been detected by the switch |
Tamper (Motion Sensor) | Potential tamper has been detected by the motion sensor |
Supervision (Cut Detected) | A cut was detected on a supervised line |
Supervision (Short Detected) | A short was detected on a supervised line |
Supervision (Invalid Setup) | An invalid setup was detected on a supervised line |
Note: Normally alerts come in 30-90 seconds after the event starts depending on which AI analytics need to be performed (human movement is faster than LPR for example).
