Overview
Floor plans provide a visual representation of your facility within the Rhombus Console, making it easier to view and manage the physical locations of cameras and other registered devices. This article explains how to upload a floor plan, position it within a location, and arrange devices to accurately reflect your physical environment.
Note: There are no size restrictions and the supported formats for uploads are: bmp, jpg, png, and gif.
Upload a Floor Plan
| 1. Navigate to the "Locations" tab, select a location, click the |

| 2. Click "Upload New Floor Plan." A dialog box opens, allowing you to upload a floor plan. |

|
| 3. Enter a name and floor number, click "Browse" to select the floor plan file from your computer, then click "Upload." |
Note: Once the floor plan is uploaded, it must be positioned on the map.
Repositioning Rhombus Devices
When viewing a floor plan, you can click and drag devices to reposition them. When you are finished, click "Save" in the upper-right corner.
Note: Click and drag the blue FoV beam to adjust the camera's orientation on the floor plan.
