What WiFi network and authentication protocols are supported?

In general, Rhombus cameras will support any wireless network and protocol that your access points support. 

If you are using the Rhombus Wi-Fi adapter that is compatible with the R2 and R1 cameras, then below are the Wi-Fi requirements for that adapter.  

1. The network must have 2.4GHz enabled
   1. 802.11 b/g 
   2. The cameras do not support the 5GHz band
2. The network must support one of the following authentication protocols
   1. WPA2 Personal
      1. WPA2-PSK (AES)
      2. WPA2-PSK (TKIP)
   2. WEP
   3. Please contact support if you are using an unsupported authentication protocol as new ones are in development including RADIUS authentication
3. The network does not use a captive portal
