Native Wi-Fi Supported Models
In general, Rhombus cameras will support any wireless network and protocol that your access points support.
Note: Currently, our only model with native Wi-Fi support is the R230.
Wi-Fi Adapter Usage
The Wi-Fi requirements for the Rhombus Wi-Fi adapter (which is compatible with the R2 and R1 cameras) can be found below:
The network must have 2.4GHz enabled for 802.11 b/g. 5GHz can be enabled for 802.11 n.

- 802.11ac
- 802.11 b/g/n
- The network must support one of the following authentication protocols:
- WPA2 Personal
- WPA2-PSK (AES)
- WPA2-PSK (TKIP)
- WEP
- WPA2 Personal
- The network must not use a captive portal.
Note: Please contact support if you are using an unsupported authentication protocol as new ones are in development including RADIUS authentication.
