Overview
Heat Maps provide a visual representation of activity levels captured by your cameras, helping you quickly identify high-traffic areas and movement patterns within a scene. Heat maps can be enabled directly from the camera viewer and can also be analyzed historically through Heat Map Logs in the Rhombus Console. Heat Map Logs allow you to review activity data by device or location, filter results by specific time periods, and export data for further analysis and reporting.
Enable Heat Maps
| 1. Navigate to the "Devices" tab and select a camera from the list of available devices. |

| 2. Hover over the ellipsis button in the upper-right corner of the camera viewer, then click the "Layers" button. |

|
| 3. Click the checkbox next to "Heat Map." |
Heat Map Logs
| 1. Heat map logs can be found in the "Logs & Reports" tab within the Rhombus Console. |

|
| 2. Select the devices or locations of devices from the dropdown menu. |
|
|
| 3. Choose to view hourly, daily, or all heat map data. |
|
|
| 4. Select a date for hourly heat map data or a date range for daily or all heat map data, then click "Search." |
|
|
| Note: Heat map data can be downloaded by clicking "Download CSV" beside the "Search" button. |
