Overview
The Flic integration allows you to use your Flic devices to trigger Actions within the Rhombus Console. Once enabled, a Flic Smart Button press can be used as a Trigger within the Rhombus Rules Engine to perform various Actions such as locking/unlocking a door, playing an audio file, sending data to a third party integration, etc.
Setup
1. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to "Settings," and click "Third Party Integrations."
2. Scroll down, click the "IoT Integrations" dropdown menu, and select "Flic."
3. Log in to the Flic Device Manager Portal, click "Profile" in the upper right corner, then click "API Secret." Copy the API Key and API secret from the Flic Device Manager.
4. In the Rhombus Console, click the toggle to enable the integration, enter the auto-generated API Key and API Secret from the Flic Device Manager, then click "Login."
5. Select the location where your Flic Hub is located from the dropdown menu, click the "Generate a Token" button to link your Flic account with your Rhombus Console, and click "Save" when finished.
Using Flic with Rhombus Rules Engine
1. Navigate to "Settings" in the Rhombus Console, and click "Rules Engine."
2. Click "Add Rule" in the upper left corner, set a name for the rule, click the "Add Trigger" dropdown menu, and choose "Double Press," "Single Press," or "Hold," below "Flic Integration" at the bottom of the menu.
3. Click "Add Flic Device" and select the Flic Smart Button which will be used for this rule.
4. Choose a schedule when the rule will be active, set a limitation for the rule if desired, select the Action that will be performed when the Flic Smart Button is pressed, and click "Save."
