In this article, we take a dive into the tabs and features of the mobile app:
When you first log into the phone app after the registration process, you will land on the Devices tab. This will give you various information about all of your registered devices, and allow you to register new ones as well as check system diagnostics within Utilities.
Tapping on cameras within the devices tab brings up all the cameras in the account. Selecting a given camera brings up that cameras specific feed where you can see seek points for events like human movement, vehicle movement, face detected, etc. To exit the feed just tap the viewing window and tap the X in the upper left corner.
Door sensors can help provide insight into open and close events. Tapping on a given sensor takes you to that sensors main page where you can see location, battery life, signal strength, open and close events, and configurable camera assignment as well as unregister it.
Asset tags can help track items you do not want to loose. In the main asset tag page you can view all you tags and their location, battery health, and signal strength to the connected camera. Jumping into one of the tags you can see more details and edit the name and picture as well as unregister it.
These sensors are useful for gaining insight into the climate of a specific area. From the main environmental sensor page you can see all your sensors and their humidity, temperature, location, battery life, and signal strength. Within a given sensors page you can see humidity, and temperature data over the last 24 hours.
The locations tab will display all your locations where you have devices. Diving into a given location will bring up a wall of all camera feeds at that area. From here you can jump into a specific feed and see the seek points noted in the camera section above.
Here you can view your video walls you created on the console. To create, edit, or maintain video walls, you can do this through the Rhombus console.
In the alerts tab you can see all the alerts that are found based on the policies you have created. Tapping on an alert brings up the clip with the type of alert that was caught. You can then share the clip with a specific viewing duration and optional password assigned to it.
In the settings menu you can view:
- Saved Video: Clips that you have saved and shared
