Installation
1. Mount the TS10 back plate to an existing single-gang box (6-32 machine screws not included).
Registration
1. Connect the TS10 to power and internet via PoE. Once connected, it will boot to the registration screen.
2. Log in to the Rhombus Console, navigate to the "Devices" tab, and select "Alarm Pads" along the top of the screen.
3. Click "Register Alarm Pad" in the upper left corner.
4. In the pop-up window, enter a name for the alarm pad, enter the token displayed on the TS10, choose the location where the TS10 will be set up, and click "Submit."
Setup and Use
Once the TS10 has registered, there are several available modes depending on the state of your Alarm Monitoring.
Note: Alarm Pad PINs are programmed in the Rhombus Console. See our article on Alarm Pad Scenarios for more details.
Monitoring Disarmed
With Alarm Monitoring disarmed, enter your PIN to arm.
Arming Countdown
An arming countdown can be set for alarm pads in the Rhombus Console by navigating to the "Devices" tab, clicking "Alarm Pads" along the top toolbar, selecting an alarm pad, and setting the countdown duration.
Arming Verification
If a door associated with Alarm Monitoring is open when attempting to arm, a pop-up will appear requesting confirmation.
Monitoring Armed
With Alarm Monitoring armed, enter your PIN to disarm.
Possible Threat Detected
When a possible threat is detected, the alert will automatically be sent to an Alarm Monitoring agent once the countdown completes. Tap "Escalate" to have authorities notified immediately, or tap "Dismiss" to confirm this event as a non-threat.
Active Threat in Progress
During an active threat, your Alarm Monitoring PIN can be entered to confirm the event as a non-threat.
Verified as Non-Threat
If a threat has been verified as a non-threat, your PIN can be entered to disarm Alarm Monitoring entirely.
