When scrolling to the bottom of the page, you will see the three tab options under the device timeline. Click on the historical data area to see individual report charts displaying the camera's Video Recording Summary, Bandwidth usage for both upload and download, and motion events.
Alerts
The alerts section shows all the recent alerts on that camera. Alerts are created when an alert policy is assigned to a camera. To learn more about alert policies, click here.
Settings & Details
In the settings and details area, you can edit the device name, change the device location, change the alert policy, share a stream, reboot the camera, unregister the device, manage the features, and see more details about the particular device.
Change Device Name
The first option to the left displays the device's current name and allows the user to edit it. Press edit to change the camera's name.
Change Device Location
The next setting is the option to change the current device location. Click 'change location' and search, or click the location in the search bar. A location will not show if it has not been created. To learn more about creating locations, click here.
Change Device Alert Policy
The next setting allows you to change the alert policy by either creating a new alert or assigning an already-created alert. To learn more about alert policies, click here.
Shared Streams
The next setting is 'Shared Streams.' With this option, you can create a shared stream for the camera and share it via email or text. To learn more about shared streams, click here.
Reboot Camera
This setting will reboot the camera. We recommend doing this when a camera is having an issue. To learn more about troubleshooting, click here.
Unregister device
This option would unregister the device from the current account. When a device is unregistered from an account, all video footage will be erased from the device. To learn more about unregistering a device, click here.

The last option is "Manage Features." This will allow the user to add licenses, add cloud storage, and apply features tied to a particular license. To learn more about licenses and features, click here.
More Details
Pressing "More Details" will display more detailed information on the current device, including storage, frame rate, MAC address, model number, serial number, and firmware information. See the picture below for an example.
How to Find Device Information
Each Rhombus device has a serial number, a model type, and a unique MAC address, which assist with different processes. All of this information can be found on both the physical device and within the Rhombus Console.
- The serial number is best used to ensure that the support staff (or other Rhombus employees) can identify the correct device and provide you with adequate assistance if requested.
- The model number can be used to identify which group your device is in, allowing you to search our KBA system more easily or find information on its specs and functionality at rhombus.com.
- The MAC address can be used to identify a device within your network and ensure that the support staff (or other Rhombus employees) can identify the correct device and provide you with adequate assistance if requested.
On Device
To find information on a device itself, flip it over and look at the underside. Once there, you will see the model number (boxed in green below), the serial number (boxed in pink below), and the MAC address (boxed in purple below).
In Console
Within the console, you will need to navigate to the device page of interest. Once there, you can scroll to the bottom. In the "More Details" box under the "Camera Details & Settings" section, you will see the serial number (boxed in pink below), the model number (boxed in green below), and the MAC address (boxed in purple below).
