Policies for T1 asset tags
Automated alerts can be setup for asset tags to trigger any time an asset leaves a location or arrives at a location. To create an alert policy, go to Settings -> Alert Policies and select Tags.
From there, simply select Add Policy and give your policy a Name and Description.
On the next page, you'll need to add a schedule and what locations this schedule applies to. For example, if you have a Weekday schedule, then you can apply that schedule for Arrivals and Departures.
Next, you need to choose which locations that schedule applies to. If you want that schedule to only apply to 2 specific locations, add those locations.
Lastly, you need to choose which asset tags this policy applies to. Go to the tab of Assigned Sensors and select the desired sensors with the "Add Sensors" button.
Now that alerts are configured, they will be sent just like any of your other alerts.
Policies for E15 environmental sensors
Automated alerts can be setup for environmental sensors to trigger any time a sensor goes above or below a certain temperature or humidity. To create an alert policy, go to Settings -> Alert Policies and select Environmental Sensors.
From there, simply select Add Policy and give your policy a Name and Description.
On the next page, you'll need to add a schedule for any climate reading you want to track . For example, if you want to monitor the temperature only during nights and weekends, select that schedule for both the high and low temperature.
Lastly, you need to choose which environmental sensors this policy applies to. Go to the tab of Assigned Sensors and select the desired sensors with the "Add Sensors" button.
Now that alerts are configured, they will be sent just like any of your other alerts.
Policies for E2 environmental sensors
Automated alerts can be setup for environmental sensors to trigger any time a sensor goes above or below a certain threshold for a variety of measurements (learn more about each measurement here). To create an alert policy, go to Settings -> Alert Policies and select Environmental Sensors.
Below is an example policy setup with all of the event types at the bottom:
When you select an event trigger you can then modify the time and threshold level for it.
Policies for D20 door sensors
Automated alerts can be setup for door sensors to trigger any time a door has opened, closed, or been left open. To create an alert policy, go to Settings -> Alert Policies and select Door Sensors.
From there, simply select Add Policy and give your policy a Name and Description.
On the next page, you'll need to add a schedule for any door event you want an alert for. For example, if you want to receive alerts on nights and weekends for any time a door is opened or left open, select that schedule for those two events.
Lastly, you need to choose which door or entry sensors this policy applies to. Go to the tab of Assigned Sensors and select the desired sensors with the "Add Sensors" button.
Policies for M1 motion sensors
Automated alerts can be set up for motion sensors to trigger when movement is detected by the PIR sensor. To create an Alert Policy, go to Settings -> Alert Policies and select Motion Sensors.
To create a schedule, simply click on 'Add Schedule' in the Movement Alerts pane and fill out the form.
