Steps to Turn On/Off Night Vision
Console
Within the camera settings, you are able to configure the night vision (IR) settings.
1. Navigate to the "Devices Tab" and select the desired camera. |
2. Hover over the camera livestream and select the "Camera Settings" button. |
3. The IR Filter is used to either Enable or Disable night vision. Select the dropdown and toggle the IR Filter setting to either "Off" to turn off Night Vision, or "Auto" to have it turn On at night. |
4. The IR LED setting is used to Enable or Disable Infrared light, which is used to assist with capturing video at night. It is recommended to keep this setting on Auto, however, there may be some scenarios that you wish to have it toggled off, such as the camera being pointed at a reflective surface like a window. To Disable IR LEDs, select the dropdown next to the IR LED setting and click "Off". |
Mobile App
- To change the setting from the mobile app, navigate to the player screen.
- Click the button in the bottom middle of the screen.
- Select "Settings & Details". In that menu, the IR Filter and IR LED settings can be changed.
Only certain modes are supported when making adjustments. Please consult the table below for more information.
