What is Browser Notifications?
Browser notifications are messages that can be sent to a user's web browser, even when the website is not actively in use. They are similar to the notifications that you receive on your phone from apps, and they can be used to notify users of new content, updates, or other important information.
How to enable Browser Notifications?
Below is setups for adding browser notifications for list of browsers Rhombus supports (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Firefox).
Google Chrome
To enable browser notifications on Google Chrome click on the lock symbol next to the url this will show you the enabled settings of the webpage.
If you do not see the notifications option click on 'site settings' this will take you to a page with all the settings you can enable for the particular webpage.
Microsoft Edge
After logging into the Rhombus console go to your alert notifications by following the path below after click on the 'browser' option in the 'Send Notifications via' area. After clicking the check box a pop will show up asking you to allow browser notifications.

Safari
After logging into the Rhombus console go to your alert notifications by following the path below after click on the 'browser' option in the 'Send Notifications via' area. After clicking the check box a pop will show up asking you to allow browser notifications.

If you for some reason did not press allow go click the Safari option in the header and select settings and scroll to notifications to check if Rhombus is allowed. See video below.
Firefox
To enable browser notifications for the Rhombus console you will need to follow the path below.
Rhombus Console > Settings > Manage Notifications > 'Your User account >
'Click Browser Notifications

User Notifications
After adding browser notifications for Rhombus. You will now have the ability to add 'Browser' as an option for your personal Alert notifications. Now you will receive notifications to your browser for all Rhombus devices. Seen below is an example of the notification.
