What is Rhombus video cloud archiving?
Rhombus Video Cloud Archiving allows you to easily back up your locally recorded Rhombus intelligent camera video data (30, 60, 90, 180 days, or more) to a secure Rhombus data center. Video Cloud Archiving is a separate per-camera license that can be added to any Rhombus intelligent security camera in increments of 30 days. Access to Video Cloud Archiving data is available for terms of 1, 3, 5, or 10 years. The Rhombus Enterprise Cloud License includes 30 days of Rhombus Video Cloud Archiving. To learn more visit here.
Enabling cloud archiving
To enable cloud archiving on the Rhombus camera follow the path below or go here to learn how to enable it.
Rhombus Console > Devices > 'Selected Camera' > (Scroll down on page) Manage Features
> Toggle Cloud archiving > Save
How to set an upload time?
In the Rhombus console go to settings and click on 'Cloud Upload Time'. Screenshot below of the icon
The first option you will need to choose is if you want the Cloud Upload time to be continuous as the footage is received for all cameras. This option will be a toggle. Screenshot below.
If you do not choose this option you will have the following option below come up. See below. On the one on the left, you can have the ability to select the same specified time for all locations/cameras. The one on the right will give you the option to customize upload times per location or camera.
Choosing the one on the left will give you the option to fill in a specific time period daily. Note: this schedule applies in the local timezone of each camera and you must choose at least an 8-hour window. See below.
Choosing the option on the right will open up the list to do individual options by location or camera. See below.
